API-backed explorer
Wire the public Explorer UI to the new chain read endpoints so users can browse live L1, BitNames, and Thunder blocks and transactions.
Public roadmap
Sidecoin is building the Drivechains Financial Hub: wallet, explorer, API, and platform workflows for L1, BitNames, Thunder, and the next wave of Bitcoin sidechain applications.
This roadmap is a living document. Priorities may change as the fork, indexing infrastructure, wallet safety requirements, and user feedback evolve.
Present
Current work is focused on turning the newly deployed API and explorer infrastructure into a live, useful browsing experience for users while keeping wallet launch quality high.
Wire the public Explorer UI to the new chain read endpoints so users can browse live L1, BitNames, and Thunder blocks and transactions.
Stabilize Demo Mode, theme presentation, send/receive review flows, release checklists, and preview-surface documentation.
Continue refining the public PRO conversion path, crypto checkout flow, founder leaderboard, and Alpha Circle positioning.
Keep master-push and tagged-release deployments aligned across web, wallet, explorer, and API properties.
Future
The next phase expands from viewing and holding into using sidechains: swaps, identity, messages, liquidity, analytics, and developer tools.
Build simple, legible swap flows for moving value between L1 and supported Drivechain platforms, starting with safety-first quoting, review, and execution states.
Explore lightweight public message posting using OP_RETURN metadata. The UX must make clear that on-chain messages are public, permanent, and should never contain secrets.
Expand BitNames from explorer visibility into wallet-native identity, name reservation, profile, contact, and message discovery workflows.
Turn Thunder preview surfaces into clearer payment, channel, liquidity, and activity workflows as backend support matures.
Add richer address pages with transaction history, UTXO views, totals, confirmations, and cross-platform context for L1 and sidechains.
Extend real API-backed support beyond L1, BitNames, and Thunder as BitAssets, zSide, CoinShift, Photon, and Truthcoin indexing becomes available.
Keep improving higher-assurance transaction review, signing, coin selection, and coinbase maturity protections.
Publish clearer docs, OpenAPI examples, SDK helpers, and integration guides for builders using Sidecoin infrastructure.
Past
High-level milestones already shipped or established. Some early history is summarized for clarity rather than shown as a strict date-by-date changelog.
Sidecoin now ships as a coordinated workspace across desktop, wallet, mobile, web, explorer, shared packages, API, and API client code.
The web and wallet surfaces describe the active Sidecoin sidechains, their sparse BIP-300 slots, and the broader Drivechains Financial Hub.
Core wallet flows now cover onboarding, receive, send, platform navigation, demo mode, PRO surfaces, and launch-ready screenshots.
The Sidecoin API normalizes SupaQt read data into a stable, camelCase surface for wallet, explorer, and future app clients.
The standalone explorer app is deployed at explorer.sidecoin.app with CI, production deployment, and release workflow coverage.
The API now exposes chain explorer read endpoints for blocks, transactions, address overview, and address history across L1, BitNames, and Thunder.
